All B3 FANTECH equipment is custom made to order. The impeller design in the centrifugal fan range, with specific blades for each application, reaches high efficiencies and optimal performance in handling air or clean gases and in extreme situations of humidity, corrosion or dust.

B3 FANTECH applies the regulations of each country, project and sector to its products.

API-560 or API- 673 are applied in the design of fans for petrochemical plants. For explosive environments, B3 FANTECH centrifugal fans are certified according to the ATEX EN 14986:2007 standard.

The performance of the centrifugal fan range reaches:

• Flow rates exceeding 1,000,000 m3/h.
• Static pressure over 30,000 Pa per stage.
• Tip speeds above 230 m/s.
• Operating temperature of 520 °C with speeds over 190 m/s.

Materials

Depending on the operating conditions and the gases in the process, B3 FANTECH chooses the proper layout of the fan and the appropriate materials.

The following materials are used, among others:

• Steel with high yield strength.
• Alloys for high temperature such as Incolloy, Inconel and Hastelloy.
• Several types of stainless steel.
• Anti-wear and bi-metallic materials for impellers and casings.

For critical applications, the performance of the materials is tested for fatigue and/or creep phenomena.
